LOVE THAT CONFRONTS, GRACE THAT RESTORES
“For the LORD disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”
Hebrews 12:6 NLT
Before Paul had become Saul, he was zealous, yet misaligned with God’s heart. He believed he was honoring the Lord, but in truth, he was operating from pride, not purpose. Still, God in his mercy did not let Saul’s misguided passion lead to destruction.
Instead, Love intervened.
God corrected him, humbled him, and realigned him with His good, acceptable, and perfect will. What could have ended in ruin became the birthplace of true transformation.
This is the mercy of God. Like a good parent, he loves us too much to let us go on unchecked. So when you hear the voice of correction, don't take it personally, don’t get offended, don’t harden your heart.
Instead, pause, reflect, and consider your ways.
See yourself as God sees you and fall back in line.
His grace is sufficient and his love is unconditional.
His correction is not condemnation, but an invitation for you to return, to be restored, and to walk in alignment with His will.
